Sustainability reporting

Organisations are increasingly expected to report annually on the "triple bottom line" of their social, economic and environmental performance. To be effective, a company's sustainable development report should be responsive to the interests of its stakeholders, should address those issues that are material to its core business, and should inform the company's sustainability strategy.

For many organisations, sustainability reporting is the first step towards embracing sustainability principles.

At Incite Sustainability we work with our clients to:
  • Identify those issues that are material to the organisation's activities
  • Design and implement stakeholder engagement programmes
  • Structure the report according to stakeholder interests and with consideration to the Global Reporting Initiative’s (GRI) guidelines
  • Conduct internal and external interviews
  • Write the report, where appropriate ensuring that it is "in accordance with" the GRI

We believe in implementing reporting processes that result in enhanced levels of trust between the company and its stakeholders, that result in full and transparent disclosure on material issues, and that directly inform the company's strategy. We do not subscribe to tick box exercises, believing instead that sustainability reports should be part of an ongoing process aimed at adding value to the company's activities.
