Experience

Ant started his career with an internship at Anglo American’s Sustainable Development Unit in Johannesburg. There he was responsible for assessing the socio-economic impact of a coal mine as part of the International Council on Mining and Minerals (ICMM)’s Resource Endowment Initiative. He also provided research on climate change, sustainable development in the supply chain, water costing and HIV/Aids in the mining industry for Anglo.

At Incite he helps companies understand and manage climate change as part of the Carbon Disclosure Project, drafts corporate sustainability reports, facilitates the development of sustainability and climate change strategies for companies, and is a dedicated researcher into sustainability areas including green public procurement and shareholder value at risk from climate change.

Ant is also currently studying a Masters in Applied Economics at the University of Cape Town where his key focus is on the economics of climate change.
