Speaking at SA launch of GRI Standards (10 November, 2016)

On 10 November, GRI Africa with support from the Aurecon Group is holding an event at the Aurecon Centre, Pretoria to launch the GRI Standards to local and regional stakeholders. Incite’s Jonathon Hanks (Member of GRI Africa’s Advisory Group and Convener of the GRI Corporate Leadership Group on Integrated Reporting) will be speaking on a panel discussion, in which invited stakeholder will be sharing their perspectives on GRI’s Standards . Chaired by Karin Ireton (former GRI Stakeholder Council Chair), other panelists include: Tracey Davies (Attorney and Programme Head: Corporate Accountability & Transparency, Centre for Environmental Rights); Theo Botha (Shareholder Activist); Vishnee Payen (Group Sustainability Manager, LUX Resorts); and Loshni Naidoo (Director Sustainability and Integrated Reporting, Grant Thornton). In the afternoon session, Jonathon will be facilitating a group discussion that will review how corporate reporting can accelerate and enhance the business response to poverty and the SDGs.
