29 March 2011 - The second annual Climate Change Leadership Awards (CCLA) was held at the Sandton Sun Hotel in Johannesburg. The event recognised organisations, individuals, schools and youth groups who are taking the lead by implementing a range of activities related to managing the challenges of climate change in South Africa. There were three times as many entrants this year and Anthony and the rest of the judges were deeply impressed by some of the nominees. The event was inspiring and provided a refreshingly positive spin on the climate change challenge. Dr Kumi Naidoo, the Executive Director of Greenpeace International was the guest speaker. He, along with the inspiring winners, will hopefully promote awareness and action to meet this global challenge.
